This course is for operatives taking their ACS training and assessment for the first time or operatives whose existing CCN1 has lapsed for more than one year. This course is a necessary requirement of the Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme for Gas Fitting Operatives (ACS). It is suitable for gas installers who are undertaking their ACS qualifications for the first time, have completed the Approved Prior Learning or Foundation programme, for candidates whose qualifications expired more than 12 months ago or for those who feel they need more in depth additional CCN1 and gas appliances training.

Domestic Core Gas Safety Course (CCN1) & Appliances includes training and assessment on the following:
· CCN1 – Core Domestic Gas Safety (From April 2012 CPA1 module is included within CCN1)

You may choose two appliances from the list below, which will be included in your CCN1:
· CENWAT – Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters
· CKR1 – Domestic Cookers
· HTR1 – Gas Fires & Wall Heaters
· MET1 – Meters
On successful completion of CCN1 (plus appliances) assessment, candidate will be certificated for Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1) and the
appliances they have undertaken.
